Treatments are applied only when there are no contraindications.
We therefore look carefully at your situation.

Abhyanga is a relaxing massage treatment with a powerful therapeutic effect. This full body massage uses warm medicinal or herbal oils where the pressure and type of oil is tailored to your personal constitution.

Abhyanga can be used as part of a treatment regimen. Medicinal oils are used tailored to the therapeutic goal.

Ayurvedic massage supports or contributes to:

• reduce stress, fatigue and insomnia

• restoration of vitality of body and mind
• stimulate blood circulation

Indication:

weakness, stress, anxiety, skin disorders, hormonal imbalance, digestive complaints, pain, psychological problems, headaches, backaches and other pains, insomnia, joint, muscle, nerve disorders.

Steam Treatment
This treatment is often used as a follow-up to the Abhyanga. The Svedana is a heat treatment using steam in a specially designed wooden cabin where the head remains cool. The heat allows the oil to penetrate deeper into the tissues. Perspiration drains waste products from the body. In some treatments, svedana is applied locally.

Particularly suitable for complaints caused by Vata or Kapha dosha.

Indication:
To close the abhyanga, obesity, rheumatoid arthritis, colds, stiff muscles, circulation disorders, congestion in the chest area.

Massage of the head in which the face, neck, cleavage and shoulders are also massaged and various pressure points are used.

This deeply relaxing treatment helps to effectively release tension and stress. It promotes blood circulation and better balances the body.
Matched medicinal oil is used for specific indications.

Treatment of the head
A jet of warm oil is poured on the forehead for ±30 min (depending on constitution). Beforehand, the entire body is massaged with warm medicinal oil.

Shirodhara is used for psychological disorders, has a calming effect on the mind and provides a deep experience of tranquility.

Because this profound treatment can release many emotions, it is not suitable for everyone in every situation. It will be checked beforehand whether the treatment can actually be performed.

Indication:
Stress, headaches, mentally exhausted, insomnia, hyperactivity, concentration problems, depression, memory problems, anxiety, neurological problems.

Treatment with warm medicinal herbal or rice bundles
The whole body is massaged with the bundles, after warm oil is first applied to your body. Works soothing pain and stiffness of muscles and joints. Strengthens digestion, circulation and softens body tissues. Treatment to bring medicinal herbs and oil deep into the tissues.

Indication:
including muscle and joint complaints, insomnia, circulation problems

Treatment with medicinal herbal powder
The treatment ends with a Svedana treatment. The hot steam treatment allows the medicinal herbs of the Udvartana treatment to penetrate deeper into the skin.
This massage is used to reduce Kapha complaints, (recurring colds, obesity, feeling of heaviness). Cleansing and detoxifying and relaxes both body and mind. Improves circulation and leaves the skin glowing.

Treatment of the head
After a head massage, an oil compress is placed on the head that is poured with warm herbal oil. The compress holds the oil so that the oil can be slowly absorbed by the scalp. This treatment is often given in a series of 3 treatments.

Indication:
Dry scalp, dandruff, insomnia, memory problems, eczema, headaches

Nose treatment
This treatment with warm drops of herbal oil cleanses the cavities of the head. This treatment includes facial massage and a (facial) steam bath or hot compresses and can be part of a treatment with food and herbs.

Good for prevention of colds and cavity infections, effective for headaches, neck and shoulder pain, tinnitus and insomnia. Relieves mental stress.

Local treatment of the back applied to back pain
A dam of dough is applied around the affected area which is then filled with very hot medicinal oil. During the treatment, the oil is constantly refreshed which keeps the temperature of the oil warm. Kati Basti has a deep effect and the warm oil penetrates the deeper layers of the skin and concerning marma points. Besides being a very relaxing treatment, it nourishes and strengthens the muscles, nerves and tissues. This treatment is used for various back problems.

Kati Basti is usually preceded by a body massage with warm medicinal oil.

Indication:
Low back pain, muscle pain, menstrual complaints, stiffness, Vata complaints, or on special advice from Ayurvedic doctor/therapist.

Local treatment of the knee joint used for knee problems
A dam of dough is applied around the affected area which is then filled with very hot medicinal oil. During the treatment, the oil is constantly refreshed which keeps the temperature of the oil warm. Janu Basti has a deep effect and the warm oil penetrates the deeper layers of the skin and concerning marma points. Besides being a very relaxing treatment, it nourishes and strengthens the muscles, joint, nerves and tissues. This treatment is used for various knee problems.

Janu Basti is usually preceded by a body massage with warm medicinal oil.

Indication:
Knee joint complaints, Vata complaints, or on special advice from Ayurvedic doctor/therapist.

Treatment of the eyes
This treatment aims to relieve or cure eye complaints. A ring of dough is applied around the eye, which is then very carefully filled with heated ghee.

The ghee has a nourishing and cooling effect on the eye. Depending on the complaint, the treatment is repeated several times.
This treatment is usually preceded by a head massage with warm medicinal oil.

Treatment of the heart area
During this treatment, warm oil is poured on the heart area. A dam of dough is applied which is then filled with very warm medicinal oil. Supportive in processing emotions.

Indication:
Emotions, anxiety, panic disorder and depressive symptoms.
